The Region
The Dutra farms are located in the district of São João do Manhuaçu, a beautiful forest region of Minas Gerais, at an altitude
ranging from 900 to 1,300 meters. The coffee plantations have been cultivated here for more than 50 years, in perfect
harmony with nature. The ideal climate and the fertile soils of this region contribute to the elaboration of an extremely
pleasant high quality coffee, with refined and balanced flavors.
 
Particularities
The Dutra farms (Fazendas) belong to Walter and Ednilson Dutra. The coffees we offer come from Agua Limpia, their largest
farm, but they also own San Jose, Jatoba, Pico da Taquara Preta, Pedra Bonita, Santa Helena and Bom fim. 60 people work
permanently on these farms, but during the harvest period up to 200 people may work temporarily. temporarily. The farms
are all UTZ, Rainforest Alliance and 4C certified.
